Starting time of breastfeeding. Average starting time of breastfeeding in the first, second and third months of the study was 48.9 (± 15), 45.9 (± 15.5) and 34.4 (± 16.7) minutes of life, respectively. A statistically significant difference was found between the first and third months (p < 0.001); and between the second and third months (p = 0.005); but not between the first and second months (p = 0.705)
