Conceptual framework for factors associating women’s intention to exclusive breastfeeding; The selection of potential determinants of intention to EBF was guided by the conceptual framework. The independent variables were ‘the pregnant woman and her husband’s characteristics (age, religion, ethnicity)’; ‘economic factors (education, occupation, income level and wealth index)’; and ‘sources of breastfeeding knowledge’, ‘maternal breastfeeding knowledge level’, ‘previous pregnancy and breastfeeding history’, ‘breastfeeding self-efficacy level’. Dependent variable was ‘women’s intention to exclusive breastfeeding’
