NCMCBFD:

North Carolina Maternity Center Breastfeeding-Friendly Designation recognizes North Carolina hospitals and birthing centers that adopt policies and practices from the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding, supporting the initiation, continuation and exclusivity of breastfeeding, providing a star for every two steps in place. NCMCBFD is endorsed by the North Carolina Hospital Association and the North Carolina Child Fatality Task Force.
